LYNDEY MILAN OAM, Australian home cook hero, combines a thirst for life and a sense of fun with a love of good food and sparkling shiraz.

A familiar face on television and in print, she been instrumental in changing the way Australians think and feel about food and wine for thirty years.

Hospitality of the table is her catchphrase, as evidenced by her numerous television appearances, eight best-selling books and countless culinary appearances over the years as she maintains her position at the forefront of Australian cuisine.

In 2014 Lyndey was awarded an OAM in the Australia Day Honours List for services to hospitality, the food and wine industry and the community.

Since 2011 Lyndey has hosted seven television series both, Lyndey Milan’s Baking Secrets premiering on LifeStyle FOOD and Lyndey Milan’s Taste of Australia on 7TWO in 2014. In this latter series, she unearths the characters, places and pastures which make up the backbone of a thriving culinary culture. It is currently on Qantas Inflight internationally and and was on LifeStyle FOOD early in 2015. In 2013 Lyndey Milan’s Taste of Ireland, screened on 7TWO and LifeStyle FOOD and Lyndey’s Cracking Christmas, also screened on LifeStyle FOOD as well as New Zealand Food TV. Her other recent series include Lyndey & Herbie’s Moveable Feast, co-hosted with spice king Ian ‘Herbie’ Hemphill and Lyndey & Blair’s Taste of Greece which follows Lyndey and her late actor son and co-host Blair on a tour of the Peloponnese seeking culinary delights and adventure. All have been seen by international audiences.
