Consulting Chef, Food I Am

Our gold medal winning consulting chef Hannah has a background in Primary Producing and is passionate about utilising and promoting excellent local produce.

If she’s not in the kitchen you’ll find her traipsing over the country side chatting to farmers and producers or foraging for local native ingredients.

Her wealth of experience and practical knowledge shines through in her fun and interactive classes and delicious creations in the kitchen.

Prior to landing at Food I Am she worked at some of NSW’s best restaurants and honed her skills under industry heavy weights (and Newtown legends) Claire Van Vuuren and Mitchel Grady. She has had the pleasure of cooking for many well known actors, musicians, athletes and chefs - her favourite being Marco Pierre White.

Well known for creating well balanced flavours with a unique twist, she developed our Small Batch Produce range which recently took out 7 medals at the 2022 Sydney Royal Fine Food Awards - which we’re pretty bloody proud of!
