Jamie Shepley

Guest Chef

Jamie Shepley (or “Shep” as he likes to be known) began his career locally as an apprentice at age 20. After travelling internationally and working as a chef in multiple countries (and with some big name chefs!) he returned home to pursue his passion for fine dining and take on the role of head chef at Three Chefs Restaurant.

He started and ran his own restaurant and café, Graze @ The Factory, with wife Cassie in 2010, creating a bustling lunch, wedding and events menu, while working as a Tafe NSW cooking teacher. It was during this time that Jamie became one of Food I Am’s first cooking class teachers – a role which he still plays today.

During his career, Jamie went on to become a restaurant consultant and has taken on the role of executive chef at The Oakroom Kitchen & Bar and The Roundabout Restaurant, gathering a name for himself with his degustation menus.

These days you will find Jamie at Mr.Lawrence or SPARE at the Prince of Wales Hotel.

Jamie’s passion for food is unparalleled and he enjoys the creative nature of being a chef, passing on his knowledge, experience and stories – attributes that make him a perfect fit for the Food I Am and Nu-Lumeah team.

Jamie always provides exceptional food and experiences for Nu-Lumeah & Food I Am events.
