Although this is a seasonal class and the recipes and produce change accordingly, the theory, and most importantly - do's and don'ts of preserving will translate no matter the season. We welcome you to book into more than one season, so you're set for the entire years bounty!

Traditional Tomato Chutney - using local ripe tomatoes in the peak of their season from Grittith - a huge crowd pleaser
Bread and Butter Pickled Cucumber - sweet ripe cucumbers from our farmer in leeton - perfect on sandwiches and cheese boards
Strawberry and Peach Jam using local Bidgee Strawberries and the most delicious stone fruit grown in Rutherglen, and jarred to take home with you from class
Pineapple, Ginger and Lime Cordial - enjoyed in class served on chilled sparkling water
All chutneys and pickles will be sampled with a ploughmans long lunch of local seasonal gourmet delights, cold meats, artisan breads, dips, crackers and other Food I Am small batch produce, followed by fresh scones with jam and cream.
CLASS INCLUDES - Tuition, recipes, morning tea of fresh scones, cream and class made jam, Lunch will be a delicious ploughmans style platter featuring class produce and regional artisan favourites, beer, wine or soft drinks.
